Air Kuwait...see relatives in Philly and get flight from London Heathrow to JFK - last time it cost £185 return - on the same flight, Air India comes second. In Europe it has to be easyJet...but Ryanair - as stated is a bit weird. Waited 22 hours for flight from Girona to Luton in February. As good as most cheap airlines are, when the crap hits the fan, they treat their customers like trash...unless there are some who have the intelligence to demand either to see the top draw there and then - or their money back (seen it happen at Liverpool Airport a few years ago!)

How near is the airport it uses, where does it fly to, what is check-in serviice like, how are you treated on the ground?My favourite is Jet2.com but its airports are near and it flies where I want. However, Ryanair is also handy and very cheap but its service on the ground and in the air is so poor that I would never use it.

Assuming you're in the UK, I would say Easyjet - we went to Rome with them and came back with Ryanair. What a difference. Ryanair was like an old tub in comparison. Plus it's not a free-for-all for seats with Easyjet. They divide you into groups depending when you checked in. Ryanair is just run for your life! I thought they were crummy. My son lives in Holland and travels all the time with Thomsonfly. He thinks they are very good.
