It is our bones.and mussel weight. while ours are very dense, (heavy),birds bones and feathers are hollow. very lean mussel mass,thus the requirement for mussel mass is less to have the strength to flap their wings (providing thrust and lift ). we simply are not strong enough to sustain our body weight even if we could get the required lift ( which we dont because we dont have wings).More Questions & Answers ...
