I want some information regarding the dimensions of a glider...?

Question:
Can any professional guide me on how to go about with the dimensions of a glider i.e
1.What should be the ratio of the length of the main body to the lenght of the wings
2.What should be the ratio of the lenght of the main body to its breadth (main body of the glider is a wooden strip 3 mm thick and 3 inch wide)etc.
(My glider has the main body consisiting of balsa wood and wings are of aluminium sheet)

who first invented the jet engine?

I'm not quite sure is your glider hard-winged or not.
Size of a glider is to be determined by your body weight and your needs for specific type of glider (is it beginners glider, speeder, competition glider). Each type has a different proportions between lenght, wing range and so on. Your body weight should be multiplied with 10 (+/- 2, depending on type) and that result expressed in m2 so it is size of your glider. All other ratios you define by placing balance on main axis, if necessary (but not always recommended).

look up glider in wikipedia. i think it has ratios and wing lengths and all that. dont know how much help it would be, but its a start
