passenger jet windows dont open and i dont know y you would say such a stupid thing (for all the people responding). but when i travel i do notice they want the shades up...maybe cause of safty reasons......how on earth would it save on fuel is the shades are inside the cabin....there not air tight when u close them..there cheap pieces of plastic.
