i've read many about the 747-8 but will avionics be same as 747-400?
26 is not too late at all. Dont know about down under, but in the USA CFI's at medium to large flight schools can fly 120 hrs + in a month. In one year you will be able to up to something bigger, corparate or airlines. Good luck! What does a Flight Test Engineer do ?
My brother is studying to become a pilotI think you need 200 hours to get your commercial pilot license
and if you want to go big like 707 you need 10 years of experience. So if your 26 and really smart go for it, because in 10 years time you can be making up to 150 000 a year
.
No 26 is not too late to start training. You have the correct plan to build up your hours as a CFI, I have found that you learn the most during your time as a CFI from your students. Not sure about flight schools in Australia, but in the US at a good school you can get quite a few hours a year.
Which is simply the best fighter jet in the world today ?
Good luck you've picked a great career!!
