I wouldn't for your own safety... if you have panic attacks you're more than likely to lose your situational awareness, which is the leading factor in probably 75% or more of aviation incidents

If you are on medicine for these attacks it may be difficult for you to obtain an FAA third class Medical. http://www.faa.gov/ I would suggest that before you start training that make an appointment with a designated FAA Medical Examiner and discuss with them if you could even pass a medical, so you don't waste time and money for something that you may not be able to achieve.
