Question:
I'm looking for a plastic model airplane of a 1961 Cessna 172. It is also known as a 172B and Skyhawk. The model I need does not have a rear window, and has a fixed landing gear.
Anyone know where I can find it before XMAS?
Answers:
what is the approx length of a runway?
Nope, but don't you have a few local hobby shops that provide all the kits? I am personally done with plastic and all the pain in the *** aspect's of it. Kid's breaking them immediately, and etc. I am in die cast now they are a lot stronger and easier to take care of, as well as pose over a fine wood base.man, that is the first airplane i ever solo 'd in. i never thought about it but i would like to have a model of my own. i'll try to search around and find a couple. we have a place in town
called hobbylobby or something like that, i'll check with him in the morning and see what he can do. does it have to be a 1961 or will any year do? mine was a 1974 or so.
I doubt that the plastic model kit you are looking for would be in current production. Most of the kit manufacturers only build the current model Skyhawks, which would be the ones with the rear window and slanted tail. If you really want a model of the straight-back 172, you'll have to find an old kit that is still sitting on the back shelf of an old toy store.
how has the helicopter changed our lives?
If you live in or near a big city, try wondering around some of the older neighborhood hobby shops.
Fuel Dumps bad for the Enviroment??
Good Luck!
How could the an airline company tap into the huge low income (USD2000 pa) market in India ?
Those would not be in production any more since the plane is an old model. However you can paint over the window to make it look like the old model. this way enables you to buy and model you want of the plane you are looking for. as for the places to find it, try your local hobby shop or places like hobby lobby.More Questions & Answers ...
