Do passengers on a commercial jet always exit from the same exit (front left)?

As far as modern planes I would say the F-22.

What do you call the airplane director sticks?

The A-10. The A-10 only needs 2/3 of the aircraft operational for it to fly back. It's model is around 30 years old, yet still wins Top Gun for air to ground in dumb-bomb drops. It's probably going to be the oldest U.S. fighter in service, especially when they dump the F-16 for the JSF.

It stopped the German onslaught while the P-51 was still on the drawing board and the Americans still thought it was peacetime.

The Germans had faster, more powerful planes with heavier armament; numerical superiority; and better trained pilots and they still lost the Battle of Britain.

For the others...

can someone tell me the world's first operational jetaircraft?

The A10 isn't a fighter
The Spitfire has the reputation but in the Battle of Britain the Hurricane did the work
The Corsair? Really? It's not particularly fast, manoeuverable or heavily armed and it didn't make a particular difference to any conflict.
Harrier? Only in very limited circumstances, mostly it's a party trick if there's something like an F15 in the area.
JSF? Erm, not as a fighter, not against the F22.
The Fokker Eindecker was more of a curiosity than an effective fighter, that's why it was in service for such a short time.
Same idea with the F117, they are retiring them soon, that isn't exactly a vote of confidence and in any case it's a bomber, the 'stealthfighter' name is just a marketing BS thing.

How can I get free tickets to a very close friend moms funeral by 01/06/07 5am?

The F-22 is the newest "best" thing out there but it hasn't been proven yet. I would say the F-15 for now.
The "A" in A-10 stands for attack as in ground attack and close air support.
The P-51 Mustang and the F-4U Corsair were good fighters and still sound great and are good looking.

If the concord hadn't of been decomissioned in 2003, would it have been a space plane in the future?

Technically, there really isn't such a thing as the most 'awesome' fighter. Every plane has its strength and weakness.

Which is cooler a commecial airline pilot or a fighter pilot?

The F-22A Raptor is principally an air to air fighter (air dominance) due to its technological edge it has. Its air to mud (air to ground) role leaves much to be desired though as its internal weapons bay does not have a large capacity. Also, the type of bombs that can be carried are also limited by factors like size, dimensions, and weapon interfaces (software and hardware).

Why is it important for airlines to have a strong training team?

Also, you will notice that currently in the market, most of the fighter you see are all multi-role. Rarely do you see a pure breed fighter (pure fighter or pure bomber).

Where can you find the ILS localizer in a B747-400, B777-300 and B737-400/200??

Well after working on F-16's I am rather partial to them, but as said in one of the other answers to your question every plane has it's drawbacks. Most planes in our inventory are multi role aircraft that way we aren't stuck buying something we don't want or will have to replace if it outlives it usefulness. The F-117 is the biggest piece of crap we have, and I wish they would retire it sooner(I worked on these as well). F-15's are great planes although very old and deserve retirement they have served us well. The F-22 is used mainly for air superiority due to it's stealthy nature. The F/A-18 is also a great aircraft, and with the advent of the "super hornet" it will most likely be around for a while longer. Most of the WW II planes are pretty cool, and I don't think we would be where we are now if they weren't around. Every time period had the some of the best planes for that period. I think the answer to your questions is your own opinion find one in particular that you like and then defend it as the best, and so long as you can do that then to you it always will be.
