Is the F-14 Tomcat ever going to fly again?
I hope it will be soon. When I served on (two) Vulcan squadrons in the 60's, I and my colleagues just accepted those incredible machines as simply part of our lives. And then they were gone... But to hear again that rib rattling roar, and to see the 'Tin Triangle' rise almost vertically into the sky like a giant ray, would bring back some very nostalgic memories of those now far off days. I heard rumours that a benefactor was giving a substantial sum to help restore the aircraft. If true, that should help things along nicely.I would like to purchase a new Boeing 747-400. How much will this cost?
