Question:
Perhaps its just a mid-life crisis, but I have determined to finally get my pilot's license and my wife is not only supportive, but wants to pursue her's also. However, I am still struggling to recover from financial issues that followed my first wife's death (makes financing flight school impossible) and supporting my new young family consumes most of what I earn. Help! Unused pilot's supplies (training courses, headsets, bags, etc) taking up closet space? CFI's in N.KY willing to work with me? Too many light aircraft in your hanger (I'll need something to build hours in)? Any contributions or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If the flaps of a plane are fully extended, are they all the way up or all the way down?
You may want to look into Pilot Finance. http://www.pilotfinance.com/ They are a company that helps with financial aid for anyone looking to take flight lessons. You don't have to be doing it for a career to get the assistance. The flight school I worked at had many students using Pilot Finance. How to change Flight Simulator files to make aircraft go faster?
Good luck!
No.
I'll look at what I have (but am not too confident that I have extra/old stuff for you). I'd be willing to help you, though, with your ground training. I hope to have my ground instructor's license VERY soon. If you are interested, write to me.
