Yes the Typhoon is better than the Rafale it is better at air to air combat and both are good at air to ground although the rafale probably edges that department for now, but overall the typhoon wins

The pilot's helmet is fitted with it's own display system, so the pilot does not need to steer the jet to exactly point at the target to fire at it (Off boresight shooting), and does not need to face forward to check his/her situation out.
