How many pilots are there for Air Force One?
Different distillations of petroleum. Gasoline is one chemical compound, diesel is closer to parafin, however diesel, parafin, and jet fuel are all types of refined kerosene. Fuel oil is a lesser grade diesel. Just different types of the same stuff.different combustion points
Gas Turbine Annular Combustion Chambers??
Because Deiesel explodes at a lower temperature than gasoline. Also a jet needs a higher octane of fuel to burn hot enough to get the jet off the ground. How can i fly planes for a living?
because each engine has different requirements ,and needs different fuels to operate correctly,,other wise nothing would ever run right if we depended on one fuel to do everything,,good luck.Santa Claus's flying altitude is restricted?
Of course they are diffrent, diffrent engines have diffrent needs.they are prerpared from fractional distilation and they purified diffrently
what it means PPL ...( about pilots)?
The density of diesel is about 850 grams per liter whereas gasoline has a density of about 720 g/l, about 15% less.Jet fuel is the mixer of kerosene and parffin mixture which is manufactured under internationally standardised specification.
Desiel is distilled oil refined from the gasoline.
can things flying without wing?
why is gravy thicker than spit?'gasoline' is americanism for 'petrol'. And 'Fuel' is a generic term for a combustible liquid which can be put to good use.
Whats a good plane under 80k that looks like a P51 style?
Petrol, Diesel, and Aviation Fuel (Kerosene) have different combustion properties and are used for different purposes. Petrol and Diesel are used in Internal Combustion Engines. Apart from the method of converting combustion energy to kinetic energy these two types of engines have nothing in common. Their technologies are totally different. Petrol and diesel are available at different distillation points in the extraction from the same crude. More additives and refnining processes make them even more different from each other.
who was the first person killed in an aircraft accident?
Aviation fuel cannot be used in internal combustion engines. It is used in engines built on the ram-jet principle. The crude source for this fuel is different.
thats the way they are made. if they were all made the same then you would not have 3 to choose from . and every one likes a choice
How do I list a Bell 47 helicopter for sale on the Internet?
Sorry wizard of ID (above) but a jet engine is an internal combustion engine. and its methods although different from a piston or automobile engine are very similar. Intake, compression, ignition, combustion and exhaust. Admittedly the fuels are different, Jet, diesel and kerosene all very similar and contain allot more heat energy but have a higher flash point and petrol or gasoline is not has less energy and a lower flash point. However, I do mix jet fuel with my diesel in my car. It works fine and I even know people burn it in their furnaces at home. Plus it's free:)There are different types of ingredients in all of the fuels
