Fear of flying?

ok so like i be on a plain in 36 hours just wonder if anyone had sugestions how to deal with the the fear of flying

I would suggest that you take a book, or a disc player, a cassette player (keep in mind that there are certain times on the plane that you can't USE these). Most of the time you can though and the flight attendants will announce that.
I don't like to fly either, but I see it as a fast way to get somewhere far.
My husband is now retired from the FAA as an air traffic control specialist and is also a pilot, holding many ratings. I have gone up with him in single engine planes. I become afraid if we hit a bump. If the plane you're on hits a bump, just think of it was hitting a bump in the road. That's what he taught me and it helped.
There is nothing more beautiful than getting above the clouds. I think you will really enjoy it.
I've been on commercial flights too. Just returned from a trip recently.

Most people have the fear because they don't understand what flying is all about. Once they have an understanding many are even willing to go up in a general aviation plane.
