There are also many other info sources as well. I would say the best idea is to go to your local airport and talk to either the airport oporator. Most airports have training schools. Prices useally range from 75-150 dollars an hour for rental of there aircraft. And the instructor fee is usually between 10 and 50 dollars an hour. 40 flight hours are required from the FAA to even get a license. Not to mention ground school that is required to pass the writen exam. there are several steps to receiving a license, first you must pass a physical to ensure you are in good health, and then you must pass a writen exam, after the writen you must then study for an oral exam. Then you must take a check ride with a certified FAA examiner.
