It is great to see you thinking of becoming a pilot at this age. as people say its not too hard and not too easy. You will need heaps of money and time to study and practice. Its great to fly the B737 because its a medium range aircraft with a nice and detailed cockpit specially the new versions -700,-800 & -900. On the other hand the 747 is more comfortable and nice to handle due to its huge size. Its a longer range aircraft with alot of capacity and smooth to handle. It has a very nice, easy and detailed cockpit for the flight deck crew to handle it.Anybody Know of any good and recognised flight schools in the UK?
not meDo you think TU-244 can be a Passenger Airliner before 2015?
I am a pilot, and flying is not difficult. It is however a long process and expensive to get you hours you need. What you should be doing is getting some of your training now. A good way to do this, is get in contact with your local airport authority or FAA and ask them where you can get some ground schooling, and work on getting toward your Private license. Then do really well in school, and go into the military for aviation... this way you can get your hours and training... plus getting paid. This is the least expensive way to do this. There are some schools out there where you can obtain your commercial license... but as I said.. it's not cheap!i'm not a pilot but a mechanic does that count??
y some jets leave smoke trail while commercial planes dont?
Hi Pat , first thing is to stay in school, work as hard as you can. Next READ, anything you can get about flying, at your age you could write to just about any publisher and ask for "seconds", of books, and material about avaition and get them for free, get a FAR/AIM..study.. Hang out at a local a/port.flying a 737, is not much harder than a light twin,,, AMMore Questions & Answers ...
