Answers:
There are some unmanned aircraft capable of higher speeds (Boeing x-43a, 7,000 mph, i.e Mach 9.7), but I guess by writing "plane" you mean "manned plane".
plane crash into water or land?
prob the concord but dont know how fast it goesWhat type of battery cells used in airplane? Please provide the details.?

Since the early 60's when it was commissioned, the SR-71, it's actual top speed is still classified information, it's official speed is over 3000 mph cruising. It is the only military craft of any kind that has never been hit by enemy fire, and nothing can out run it, even missiles.Does the design of paper aeroplanes follow developments in real aeroplane design?
Officially, the world's fastest jet-powered aircraft remains the SR-71 Blackbird. Although the official record is about Mach 3.3 (or 3.3 times the speed of sound), many believe the aircraft could actually fly much faster. However, it seems unlikely that the SR-71 could go much faster than about Mach 3.5, with a very slim chance of Mach 4, due to propulsion and structural limitations. By Mach 3.6 or 3.8, shock waves generated by the nose of the aircraft are formed at an angle such that they impact the engine nacelles and cause the engines to unstart. In addition, heat generated by the aircraft's high speed increases to the point that certain portions of the plane's structure begin to fail by about Mach 3.5.Since this article was originally published, the SR-71's speed record has been broken by NASA's X-43 Hyper-X experimental aircraft. This unmanned vehicle was designed to test an experimental engine called a scramjet at speeds ranging from Mach 7 to Mach 10. At the X-43's cruising altitude of 100,000 ft (30,510 m), these Mach numbers correspond to speeds of approximately 4,750 mph (7,640 km/h) to 6,750 mph (10,855 km/h).
should Concorde have been dropped from service?
The scramjet, which stands for supersonic combustion ramjet, is a subclass of the jet engine. However, the X-43 was accelerated to these high Mach numbers by a booster rocket, and the aircraft only flew under scramjet power for a few seconds before falling into the sea. From a purist's point of view, the X-43 did not truly break the jet-powered aircraft speed record since it was incapable of cruising at and sustaining these high speeds.
Nonetheless, some believe the SR-71's speed record has already been bested by its supposed replacement dubbed the Aurora. If this mysterious new spy plane does indeed exist, it is believed to cruise at speeds ranging from Mach 5 to Mach 8 at 100,000 ft (30,510 m). These Mach numbers correspond to speeds of 3,380 mph (5,435 km/h) to 5,400 mph (8,685 km/h). The Aurora may use scramjets, pulse-detonation wave engines, or some other exotic form of propulsion to reach these speeds. However, we should stress that there is no conclusive evidence that this plane ever existed.

When planes land or take off at night.. Why do they need the lights off in the cabin?
Don't you just love how people copy and paste anwsers? Actually the fasted plane would be and still is the North American X-15. It flew at MACH 6+ and even entered outerspace. Now you asked plane, not airplane. That would be the forerunner of the SR-71 Blackbird. It was the YF-12A. It flew faster that MACH 3, similar in many ways to the Blackbird, except it carried weapons, such as 20mm cannons, and internal weapons such as missles. Now from what I can remember, it was made for titanuim and was never put into active service. I think only three were made. One is one the deck of the mud encrusted USS Intrepid in New York Harbor. One other is in Dayton, Ohio at Wright-Patterson AFB.Now I know that the X-15 is rocked powered, but is still an aircraft and it set the speed record in 1967.

Russia is also testing same concept, using a grant set up by US Govt.
why do jet planes leave visible white trails while sometimes they don't?
Ram-jet principal speeds of 6000 mph, metal and technology were back engineered from space craft ufo that crashed in Roswell, NM in 1948. Ship is able to leave earth's atmoosphere and go into low earth orbit at pilot's command. They are working on ship to make moon journey practical in hours instead of days.
Our government will reveal this to us when they determine we are ready to believe.
The Space Shuttle and it is still travelling at around 10,000 mph when it first assumes a non ballistic trajectory and becomes a glider during re entry.

The fastest piston powered propeller aircraft in production is the Mooney DX.
Their is no fastest airliner right now. almost all can fly mach 0.95
The Piper Cheyenne 400LS is the fastest production turboprop aircraft.
The fastest prop aircraft not in production are modified ww2 fighters, which are actually faster than most jets. some exceed 500mph at sea level, Which is apsolutley insane. You can see them at the Reno airshow.
The fastest cruising aircraft in production is the F-22, which cruises at mach 1.6 for 500 miles and back. It is the only aircraft capable of supersonic cruise in operation anywhere. Some claim that other aircraft can, But nobody has actually proven their claims.
The Mig 25 and mig 31 cannot cruise above mach 1, but can boost to mach 3 for short periods, not more than 250 miles, about 8 minutes.
SR-71 Black Bird. Mach 3.17 I believe.
