Sorry, it's a parts locator but it's the best I could do!
Try ANSI (American National Standards Institute) or BSI (British Standards Institute).
Go to www.iso-parts.com, they have a very good cross-referencing database of parts and you can purchase from them as well. I believe that they also have a customer service 800 number that you can call if you need more information than what the site gives you.-------I think you may need more part number than what you are giving. I tried NAS4401-8 in the part number search engine at www.iso-parts.com and nothing came up. Is there a grip length or something at the end that you are not sharing with us? I think that you may have to call their 800 number for more info. What is this bolt used for?
how do i calculate required wing area?
It's a 100deg countersink head, tri wing recess, short thread made from an alloy steel. the -8 is the dash length for grip ,close toleranceI found that in a book I have from AMFAST american fasteners.
Though i tried to access their website for more info and couldn't find anythng useful.
They use a lot of these on the Bae 146. Generally just a panel screw.
the nsn number is NSN: 5305-01-186-2169
