I'm looking for a flight school in Washington where I can buy a gift certificate for my boyfriend to take either a helicopter discovery flight or experience a dog fight flight? Anybody know of any or know of any good starting point references, like a helicopter pilot association or anything? Thanks!

Look up a Helicopter Flight Training Schools on the net,then call and ask then what they charge for an "intro flight".
It should be between 200 and 300 dollars for 1 hour ground school and 1 hour in the air. He'll be able to pilot to aricraft for some of the flight.

Check with him what he prefers... If he gets hooked on helicopters it is much more expensive then airplane training.Can I learn to 'fly' using MS Flight Simulator?
If he goes on an aerobatic dogfight flight and gets hooked, he can start taking flying lessons at local flight schools and won't spend as much. He'll start with his private Pilot's license and will probably continue to get his Instrument (flight in clouds), and Commercial training.
