What is the best make/brand for a pilot's headset?

It isnt that bad when you hit it and time of year is somewhat irrelavant. I find turbulence fun. All that happens is that the pilot tells you ahead of time then you are ready. Just tell the people next to you that the armrests are yours and they can't touch them. Be like my sister, the second the plane bumps death grip on those armrests! It isnt bad at all though and once you go through it once you'll be fine

What do you need to become a pilot?

dunno

What is the fastest bomber in the world and what country built it?

trust me its ok, wen they test planes even the hardest turbulence to you would be 15000 times less of what the plane could take. its like hitting bumps in a road. its just the air going down off the planes its natural.

Why is the nose of a subsonic aircraft shaped like a paraboloid?

Turbulence is a bit more common this time of year becasue the jet stream comes southward and high-velocity winds aloft make it into more of the routes that jets fly in. BUT don't be scared of it. Its a normal thing that occurs at high altitudes. Even though it can be a little disconcerting to have your airplane shaking underneath you, its perfectly safe. Just keep your seatbelt fastened and trry not to spill your drink on your lap :)

Can Somebody guide me to download a free copy of " Private Pilot Manual Book" ?

Just as an fyi...turbulence in its most extreme form *could* potentially be dangerous. Aircraft are essentially rated for turbulence far beyond what will ever be encountered though. There is a "turbulence penetration speed" published for jet aircraft that provides both stall protection and structural protection up to something like 30G's in some aircraft. And just so you know, you'll be unconscious by about 9 so you won't have to worry about it.

homebuilt airplane?

the point of that it...9Gs is a LOT of force. More than you're ever going to experience. And if you are still awake, your airplane is going to be fine because its stronger than you are. Most turbulence you will ever experience falls into about 1.1-1.5Gs...so a 9G load would be EXTREMELY bad, and really doesn't happen. But even if it did, the airplane would still easily be able to survive it.

how to convert thrust of single spool turbojet to shaft horsepower?

The 777 when it was being built was stress tested to failure with a big machine that wrenched the wings upward simulating turbulence. The wings on it held together until 38Gs.

SVFR vs. DVFR?

you'll be fine

what is the power source of an aeroplane?

it can be minor, or the plane could feel like its rolling across a bed of huge rocks. teh plane just gets a little jumpy. nothing to freak out about. just stay calm. i have been on plenty of ariplane rides since i was 5. a fly everywhere. I LOVE IT.

Have you used Zipcar? How did you like it? Was it convienent?

Well i fly roughly 5 times a month, and ummmm when the year gets colder and colder, the plane has to ly higher and higher so at this time of year, planes go around 40-47k feet, at tht altitude there is hardly anyturbulence. Yes it might be unexpeted, but make sure u don't ever drink alcohol o any sort because it makes things worse. Anyways its not that bad, i you think turbulence is expected, take a nap throughout the light because you wouldn't eel anything. When drinks are served drink either Tonic Water or Ginger-ale, this usually helps you calm down.
