Answers:
What is the landing speed of a boeing 747?
Even in India, it is unlikely that you will be able to "skip" the military training, as "fighter pilot" is a whole lot more than the"normal" operating parameters of a commercial or "civilian" pilot is normally trained to do!
I would gues that only about 1/3 of the knowledge you will need as a fighter pilot is the "flying" part! Your education will definately give you an "edge" that will be useful to get into that branch of service, -- but it isn'r even a guarantee that they will accept you for "fighter pilot training", -- you might however be more readily accepted as a flight instructor for the "air force", -and continue working towards the "fighter" status. It is going to take some time - even as trainee, to be able to gain "ready" status as a fighter plane pilot!
I have a civilian commercial pilots certificate in the USA, and I doubt I could even be accepted into training as a fighter pilothere with these qualifications (I was instrument repairman ceritfied, and devcelopmental tech. for civil. aircraft also).Bear in mind that I am too old anyway, - but if I was in my 20s and in prime condition, - I would still probably be placed in a much lower "support" position - as what I know still has to be checked and re-checked in service to even be considered as prime person for training!
