How do jet engines propel jets?

Brand-new ultra-lights can be found for less that $15,000 (US), but are not really good for anything but play. For semi-serious flight, and some occasional travel, there are several manufacturers who are offering new light-sport two-seater airplanes in the $80,000-$100,000 range. For serious cross-country flight or for bringing along the family, a new four-seat Cessna Skyhawk starts at about $175,000, while prices of Cirrus aircraft begin around $200,000. More seats or more engines will cost considerably more, and anything that burns kerosene will start out in the $1 million + range...

Is there a height limit to be a pilot in the air force?

While brand new airplanes are all shiny new and offer factory warranties with all new components, they are not necessarilly any better or safer than a well maintained older airplane. Quite frequently, a 25-30 year-old aircraft will cost less to operate, and fly faster than a brand new one. This can be due to the older airplane being lighter and less complex than a new one.

Can anyone help me with this question I had on a JAR engineering test?

my head is heading for headlesness...?

Their is a new class of aviation called sport flying. You can get one anywhere from 80 to 100k. Far cheaper than any cessna or other planes of that ilk. I think the FAA has info on it. These links should help as well.

what happens with unused airplanes when they are takenn out of service?

When I began flying in 1964, you could buy a new six-seat, twin-engine, retractable-gear Cessna 210 for thirty thousand dollars.

can any one help me out with how ac electrisity is generated and distributed on an aircraft?

Due to the insurance burden of the manufacurers, though, and the FAA's demands for new avionics not even heard-of in those days (DME was new), prices have escalated. Have I mentioned, also, inflation? That one's the killer.
