can i become a pilot in the RAF with asthma?
one of the factors of flying are thrust and force. What is the white smoke that comes out of a plane?
Flight is the process by which a heavier-than-air animal or object achieves sustained movement either through the air by aerodynamically generating lift or aerostatically using buoyancy, or movement beyond earth's atmosphere, in the case of spaceflight. How Hard is it to get a private pilot certificate?
the engine and the turbines spin really fast and basically uses the air to propell itslef through the air and if it is going fast enough, it makes the side of the wing, little part with the flap, flap down making the air resistance pick the plane off the ground. basically, the only reason it is flying, is because its going soo fast.Help with this aircraft pneumatics question? on 747 or a340, or 737, or 777?
Powerplants replace wing falpping. How'd you to gain an FAA licence ?
As for gliders, they have to be towed into the air.
Just curious, a few questions about aeroplanes:?
look at the wing--the top is bowed and the bottom is flat.it takes longer for air to travel across the top of the wing than the bottom. this creates a condition that actually helps pull an aircraft off up if it has enough speed. see power plants.
as for vodoo whodo youdo
how does an aircraft boneyard work?
Planes do not have to flap their wings to fly. The power of the engine's thrust provides the forward movement of the airplane. The 'lift' created on the wings actually makes the airplne get off the ground. The 'leading edge flap' and the 'trailing edge flap' on the wings creates this 'lift' by varying their settings.what type of helicopters are white w/2red stripes?
Air that passes thru under the wings have a shorter distance to travel than the air passing over the wings. The air passing over the wings have to travel faster therefore creating lift.
The jets attatched to the wings.
How do commercial airliners stay in the air if they are so big?
the hot gasses from the engines are very very very hot and they are high pressured, so they propel the plane, when there is enough airspeed, the air pressure under the wing is greater than on top so it creates lift, and spoilers, ailerons, elevons, control the direction of the planes moving, so thats how they fly,I pay £43.50 for the full package on Sky but..?
I would hope you are not seriously asking this, but they call them engines and they produce thrust which propels the aircraft.More Questions & Answers ...
