Singapore Airlines: From Singapore to Osaka. I suspect it's a old style B777 given the new souped up models of B777s with the superb inflight entertainment consoles and plush seats they announced in december 2006 only fly to Milan,Barcelona,Paris and HK and the B747s only fly to NY and UK. They don't seem to fly Airbus

I was just checking out Singapore Airlines & Japan Airline schedule on-line. It seems the Singapore Airline use B777-200 with 30 business & 293 economy class configuration on both SQ 618 (Daily flight) and SQ 622 (Monday, Wednesday & Saturday).

FYI - If you want to get on their B747-400 Domestic, you'll have to go through Tokyo Haneda. Osaka Itami (Osaka's exclusive domestic airport) has a rule that prohibits 4-engine airliner operating from there, so both ANA and JAL use B777s from Itami.

SIA has only B777 and B747s at thier disposal. I believe its the only airline in the world that uses B777 on local or domestic routes. SIA uses B747s for destinations to Europe, US and Oceania. Its uses the B777 for domestic and Asian routes. They may use the B747 on long haul asian routes like the mid east, japan etc during peak season or holiday season

I am quite sure you would be travelling in a b777 from Singapore to Osaka as for Osaka to Sapporo, you may be taking a B737.
