Question:
Earlier today, i seen a large aircraft which looked like a 747, with two figther jets beside it, a another large aircraft, again which looked like a 747 was close behind it. What could this have been? Air Force One perhaps?
Answers:
is MDH, MDA, DH, DA all the same?
Possibly. Since 9/11, Air Force One has usually been escorted by fighters. The second aircraft may have been a second aircraft carrying press and additional Secret Service personnel. On the other hand, it could have been a refueling mission, with two fighters and another large aircraft being refueled, likely by a KC-10, which is similar in size to a 747, but is a different configuration.what is the upper skin thickness of the first douglas dc3 airplane?
Could be any number of things, but the possibility of it being AF1 is there. I would surmise one of the larger aircraft was a refueling plane.Sounds like a C17 military plane. Since they are moving troops around over seas, sending more, you are bound to see some military items in the skies and on the roads. These planes are as big if not bigger than a 747 as they can carry tanks, etc in their belly.

could have been or it could have been air to air refueling.Sounds like AF1 to me. They travel with a fighter escort and another 747 for the press.

AF1 is so obvious, if you saw it, you would know. How can I see the prices of flights online?
nah...dont think it was air force one. air force one has its own defenses. it might have been planes lining up to be refueled by a kc135 stratotanker. Ive seen air force coming in for landing and no 'scorts any where around it.martians
Any aircraft could be AF1. All it takes to be Air Force 1 is the President to be onboard.

Unless you have a picture to show, this question is pretty useless and not going to get you anywhere. How can I overcome my intense fear of flying?
Besides, if it was Air Force One, you wouldn't be asking this question since you will have recognised it.
