Hi there,
I'm doing a project on "aircraft noise reduction in gas turbine engines" and would like to do a small experiment that relates to the project. My uni does have a hangar, but not sure if they do have anything that I cud work on in regards to the project. I dont want my uni ppl to go "sorry, we dont have that facility in the hangar" and I being left with nothing to do. Any general relevant ideas wud be great too.

I would welcome any suggestions on the experiments I could carry out or any ideas at all, that I could talk to my lecturer about & say "hey, this is what i wanna do, do u think it wud help or is there somethin else i can do?"

Assuming your project is in noise reduction in gas turbine engines USED ON AIRCRAFT, then I must ask, do you have an engine to work with? Or, is this a theoretical, software based research project?If you have an engine, do a web search for manufacturers of 'Hush Kits'. There are several. Hush kits reduce the noise on older aircraft jet engines so that the airplane will meet the noise standards at many airports. Many B727 aircraft have hush kits.
Ask the manufactruer what type of project might be feasible with the assets available at your university.
