It's a realistic representation of more than 1 type of aircraft - you probably notice the bubble shape that looks like a 747's upper deck.It is used by the fire service to practice on and give them as realistic as possible experience of dealing with a plan on fire. I worked at the airport for nearly 4 years and never saw it actually in use.

It;s what the Airport Firefighters use to practise. There's also one at Heathrow only alot bigger.there's one at Manchester too
There's something similar at Edinburgh..an airliner fuselage.....I think most of the major airports have them for training purposes.
