Just recently, an American Airlines plane, bound for Dallas, was diverted to Austin because of weather in Dallas. The air traffic controllers, rather than giving them a gate, kept them on the tarmac for 9 hours in order to keep other planes landing and taking off. Toilets overflowing, water and food gone, passengers complaining, the pilot decided to go to a gate without authorization. What a great move. Who is that pilot? Do you know anything about him or her?

I don't know his name or the full circumstances, but I'd like to know why the controllers, and American Airlines couldn't resolve the issue in a more timely fashion.
