Jet fuel tax in UK- is it true?

Question:
I heard that these days a new jet fuel tax has been issued for inside UK flights and that flight companies charge up to 60 pounds AT THE AIRPORT, before they let you on a plane.
Please, tell me this is just a rumour?! It would be ridiculous if it was true... :(

Answers:

Delta comformation?

thats not exactly true the jet fuel tax is levied on the airline and it cannot be trf to the consumer without the precursor period , the 60 pound theory was that the carrier has to pay but the court ruling clearly states that the airline has to make it explicit , in fact to be frank they say that airlines charges might slightly reduce now that the oil prices are way too low from the 70$ per barrel. dont worry about the paying the thing , the person twisted the fact while telling you......
