Question:
messerschmitt bf109 g to be exact
Answers:
Why do FedEx planes fly so low out of Newark Airport?
There are only a few actual Bf109 aircraft, of any model, still in existence, most of them in museums. Nearly all were destroyed by the Allies after the end of WWII. Most of the Messerschmitts flying today (again, very few) are actually Hispano Ha1112 types, built in Spain under license from Messerschmitt, using Rolls-Royce Merlin powerplants, rather than the engines used in the Bf109s. If one could be found, it is very hard to predict what the price would be. In the 1960's, I bought a P-51D for $5,000, and about 10 years later sold it for $85,000 (above market at that time). Now, that bird would be worth somewhere in the range of $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. The price is pretty much depends on rarity, desirability, and the willingness of the seller and the willingness (and pockets) of the buyer. If one could actually find a real Gustav (Bf109G) in good, airworthy condition, my guess is that it would bring between $2 and $3 million (US).How good is stealth technology?
good luck finding one i know a guy that had a P 51 and a corsair they cost around $1,000,000-900,000 a pieceHow fast do commercial airliners taxi at an airport?
An actual Bf109g would be very hard to find, I am not sure that there are any even flying anymore. There are a few aircraft that are very similar, such as the HISPANO HA-1112 BUCHON. The Buchon is a little different because it does not have the original German engine and was completed with a Rolls-Royce Merlin V-12. Here is a link for a Buchon that is for sale in the U.S.http://www.courtesyaircraft.com/n109me%2...

In airplane maintenance, what does the term corrosion mean?
The Russell Group has one up in Niagra Falls, Ontario, with the original type DB engine. No idea on cost, several million dolars US I would assume, I think it's the only flying. To find one for sale as a non flyer and to restore it, at least the same, probably much more. BIG bucks hobby!!What if I need to cancel my flight?
all messerschmit planes were confiscated by allies at the end of ww2 besides they were likely to all be destroyed or badly damagedMore Questions & Answers ...
