three possible options, if you want to be like an actual airliner, as was stated, turn off the runway, contact ground and get clearance to taxi to the gate with the option of using progressive taxi. you can do a touch and go, which is simply wheels touching the runway, getting back up to rotation (takeoff) speed, then climb again, or once you stop on the runway you can exit flight simulator if you are done flying. there is more about this in the Learning Centre within Flight SimulatorIs there a helicopter out there designed to go into a quiet mode?
PS. if you want more realistic scenery and more planes such as the airbus A321, go and by FSX it is a better buy with respect to that, but if you have the scenery amount too high, it chews up your frame rates and makes the game go SOO SLOW... not to mention the rest of your computer because of the large size (15 GB)
