Squeeze noise like Asthma noise while turning steering wheel?

I know you may say bring it to the mechanic to take a look. Before I do, I want to know what could possible make that noise.

Does anyone know why the Cadillac symbol has ducks in it?

I checked the power steer fluid, still 1/2 full of it.
The weather is cold, but I never had that noise before

I have MercedesC280 R reg.button on dash only partially switches off tract.cont. how do i fully switch it off?

its the pump. fill it with power steering fluid and it should stop. if it doesnt you got air in the system. turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and hold it then to the left and hold it. do this a few times and if its not working its your steering pump sayin buh bye

Is half full the right level according to the dipstick? If it is then it sounds like the power steering pump itself has a problem.
