I am now on the verge of buying a TVR Tuscan (00/01), can anyone advise me on the engine rebuild problem?

Question:
I have heard that all early model Tuscans need an engine rebuild, is this necessary and why? Should I avoid one that has not had it done and is it an expensive job? Cheers

Answers:

Bad wheel bearing repair cost?

Ive heard they have engine problems and some need a rebuild. If i were you id find a TVR chat room or something and ask someone who knows about this stuff.

If I hit the curb, will I fail my driving test?
