My car is 13 years old, but still works fine. How much longer should I keep it?

That will be pretty hard to do, there isnt such a thing as cheap insurance. Your best bet is not to buy a new car but one thats maybe 4 or 5 years old and is only like a 1.1 litre or something. My first car 10 years ago was a Ford Orion 1.6 liter and I was paying 350 quid a year and that was 3rd party fire and theft, so good luck
