Car question...?

Question:
why does it look like when a car is going really fast, the wheels seem to be going in the opposite direction?

Answers:

Guys, have you ever driven a Mini-Van?

Your brain interprets moving things the same way you interpret a movie, it is a series of still images that you process, you are seeing the wheel go ALMOST all the way around at the time the next "image" is processed, thus it seems to be turning backward. It is just an optical trick your brain plays on you that only happens when the right speed is attained.

What is your Dream Car?

That's on TV and movies only.

Which of these cars would you rather go for?

Just imagine blinking 24 times a second, - and looking at the wheels. The spokes may appear, the next time you blink, - a little bit behind when you saw them before.

Could you apply for your provisional before you are actually 16 if so how many months or days before?

So in affect, - the spokes appear to be going backwards.

Why are car tires always black?

It's called an optical illusion. Your brain can't interpret what it sees so it shows you what makes sense.
