Question:
is my monkey's uncle telling the truth?
Answers:
What does the G.T.S. stand for in car models like spyder GTS?
Your monkeys uncle is confused. lifting a vehicle has nothing to do with better gas mileage..What year was the *best* for cars, what year the worst?
thats not true at all becuase the tires are still level with each other. You would just be driving around looking stupid. Can you legally put cones on a public road to reserve a space for a car?
Nope not true, not in the least. WHAT happens is that the sending unit that tells you if your tank is F or E gets altered so that it reads that you have more Fuel, Also it might allow you to get that last little sip of gas out of the tank that you wouldn't have been able to suck up with the vehicle level which would also give you a little farther driving range, but not better mileage.Calling all 360 excavator drivers?
it only reduces the resistance of the wind, not much different in reducing gas consumption n it's unsafe on the road.it's not true.Which one of us should drive ??
It's much more effective if you lower the front end at the same time. But the best is if you install leveling controls so that you can control it for the type of slope you're on. :)In reality, a lift kit is likely to reduce your gas mileage because it will disrupt aerodynamic tuning of the body design (assuming there is at least some) by presenting more of the top surface to the wind that is coming directly at the front of the vehicle (in a relative sense). See the below links for a taste of the complexity of auto body aerodynamics.
That's what they taught us at 'special school,' yes.
