Need info on how/where to install aftermarket tow hooks on 06 F150 without damaging/interfering with bumpers?

Question:
Got my F150 stuck this winter and found out the hard way there were no tow hooks on it and no substantial area to hook tow ropes. Had to shovel it out.

Answers:

Can you drive a car with out a permit ? how old do you have to be to get a permit?

Behind the front splash pan, under the front bumper, there are two frame rails. This is the only spot that can with stand the strain of pulling the entire vehicle. If you take a look at an F250 you will see that these hooks are provided. Use this example as how to mount yours. Just mount them in a way that they can be connected to without interfering with the front splash pan or bumper
