Why not make it an extended holiday, and drive it there yourself. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the relevant paperwork from all countries that you pass through. Anyway you won't need any paperwork at all until you are out of Western Europe.
Also you will have some idea of the costs involved by the mileage.
