The cars boast of the latest engines with superior technology and almost zero noise. Why is it then that they run only like around 20 miles a gallon? I have a Honda City and it gives an impressive average / mileage of about 30 miles a gallon!

How can you even mention a Rolls or Mercedes in the same breath as a Honda? There's much more to life than high gas mileage. The comfort and safety in those larger cars comes from extra weight and bulk. The engines produce enough power to allow these classy rides to accelerate and a very respectable rate. Your Honda may be dependable transportation, but come on. It could probably be carried in the trunk of a Rolls.If you have to ask for mileage ratings on the vehicles mentioned, then you simply don't belong in one.
