Is it possible, and more importantly practical, to build a front-engine, front-wheel-drive car 50:50 weight?

Question:
Is it possible, and more importantly practical, to build a front-engine, front-wheel-drive vehicle with a 50:50 front/rear weight distribution? I know that it would help the handling of the car, but what would happen to the acceleration and braking?

Answers:

How do you know when your automatic car is not automaticly shifting gears?

it's possible but not practible at all. the mods would be too expensive, and the cost would outweigh the advantages, big time.

What difference do bigger rims and tires make on gas and mileage?

Is highly impossible. Only way it would work, is DEAD weight in the rear, thus effecting performance, acceleration and such. Good luck on this venture.
