Peculiar crunching sound from 05 Canyon front end?

Question:
My truck makes an unusual crunching sound right under my feet. Started around 14,000 miles. It only makes this when I'm on a bumpy road, never on paved roads. Seems to definitely be on the driver's side. It's going into the shop here next week, but are there any GM mechanics who know something about Canyons/Colorados having a problem like this? Would really like to get it fixed. Any info is appreciated...thank you!

Answers:

Transport to airport?

crunching sounds are usually wheel bearings, but could be suspension related. They should find it unless it quits doing it in the shop - been there
