Question:
I just discovered my P.T. Cruiser is on its last leg and I refuse to put any more money into it. Which of the following would you choose to replace it (keeping in mind that I'm looking for a family car that would be good for trips but not look too much like a soccer mom car): Pontiac Vibe, Dodge Caliber, Ford Fusion, or Hyundai Sonata?
Answers:
hyundai sonata, but it will be significantly more expensive than a vibe or caliber.

I think the SEAT Altea is a good looking car with a reasonable turn of pace and plenty of room for a familyIs there any way of finding out where austin champs have been dispatched in the past?
The Pontiac Vibe is on its way out, which is too bad. It's based on the Toyota Matrix and an excellent car. The Fusion is another excellent choice as well. I don't know enough about the Sonata to comment, but the Caliber is expensive and offers little standard equipment for the base model. It's also cut from the same cloth as the PT Cruiser.if you like the pt cruiser try a chevrolet hhr, same sort of layout with a better engine and tranny and better warranty.

Buy a VW. You can't beat German engineering. A VW Jetta TDI wagon is comparable in size to the cars you've listed but gets nearly 50mpg. I own two jetta TDIs and I love getting 650-700 miles from a tank of fuel. And diesel engines outlast gasoline engines by decades as they operate at lower temps. Good luckMore Questions & Answers ...
