Question:
My friend is disabled and is licenced to drive automatic cars only.
He asked me if he's allowed to drive semi-autos: those with paddle-shift gearchanges. I don't know! Can you help?

What diesel engines do modern locomotives have??
Apparently an automatic gearbox from DVLA's point of view is one that requires "no input from the driver" in normal driving; in other words a conventional auto box that you just put in "Drive". I asked them for clarification & they said that those 'boxes where you still change gear, albeit without a clutch, are not considered automatics.Has anyone got a Diesel car left hand drive.air con?
Ask the DVLA try the website or the helpline (just google dvla)Where can I find Disney Goofy car floor mats?
Ring up, or look on the DVLA website, I am sure they will have the info there. If you were at a relay..like relay for life..what would you buy there..?
I have such a car and its an automatic. Most if not all are which have electronic gearbox. No foot operated clutch, so automatic, should be OK I think all the type you are on about also have the ability to be Auto or semi-auto.Yes, no clutch pedal so is classed as auto.
