You should know that you will not like being a car salesmanWell dont tell the guy what u really think. Tell him u love the cars and bikes and know all about them. U love their concepts and want to learn more by working for them. Dont tell them that the cars are really crappy and are making all of us Michiganders lose our jobs. Ur all set!

Know about the tech specs of the cars.I'd advise that you demonstrate the skills of good salesmenship. Not only should you know something about the Honda vehicles, but you should know about what people are going to tell you, what they mean, and what they want. If you can deal with these three questions for all your customers, you should be ok. And, before i forget, Appearence and self-confidence are very important.

I would make sure that you are familiar w/ the different models. Know their estimated value, what comes standard and what is extras are available. They are prob. going to ask you to sell them a particular car- you don't need to know everything, just make sure you sound knowledgeable. They also might give you a scenario of a family or type of person and ask you for suggestions and why you suggest that particular car.I have attached an interesting article for you that may also be helpful.
