I have oversized tires and my truck is going 5mph slower than what the speedometer says.

What is the minimum charge for MOT?
LOL people even didn't have any idea what question was about. What minivans available in America from the last 8 or so years have manual transmission options?
Since your odometer uses the same source of information as your speedometer (i.e. counting wheel revelations) and do not have any way of knowing your tires diameter, it will have the same error - showing fewer miles traveled than actual.
it tells u how many miles that you have gone
The odometer should be counting your actual miles driven. Even if your going in reverse, actual mileage on the vehicle is documented.
Does any car company make a hybrid with a 6-speed manual transmission?
First of all the 5mph difference you noticed would be true at a certain speed, but is actually a variable. As your speed increases so the does the difference between the actual and displayed speed. If your speedometer says you are going faster than you really are than it is recording more miles than it the truck is actually traveling. Oversized tires should cause the speedometer to register slower than actual speed not faster.More Questions & Answers ...
