Where is the goverment site for voting against car road charging?

I just had a very similar problem, but the other way. My tires were 205/60/R15s, but according to the specs, shouldn't be on my car b/c they're too small ('97 Malibu, 4 cylinder, nothing special). I had to buy the 215/60/R15s instead, which is the size that they're supposed to be, apparently. The shop refused to put the 205s on my car, even though that's what they took off in the winter (bought the car used, with the tires on it).

Used car can still take back for recall?

The 205s are a little narrower and not as "fat" as the 215s are. It's not noticable (to me, at least) when they're on the car, but when the tires are side by side it is.

Can truck drivers get a discounted rate on their auto insurance for their personal vehicles?

The last number (R15, or R16, etc) is the size of the rim, I think, so as long as that last number is the same, I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

Although I imagine going a bit bigger isn't a problem or a safety issue, though going smaller (like what I had without realizing it) might be.

Sure; that's only one size up! Go for it (but make sure there's no rubber interference between the tire and other non-rubber parts, like fenders, suspension and steering components).

How many cars are on average sold in the US daily?

yes as long as they are 15 inch rims than it will work the 215/70r or 205/70r is just the height and width of the tire

Selling an old car...?

Should be OK. Just make sure you don't have any rubbing on the inner front fenders when you have the steering wheel turned all the way to one side or the other. Your speedometer will be off by a couple MPH.

What is with the HIGH gas prices right now??

yes you can. you could also go to a 215/60-15. the middle number in the size is the sidewall height. 205/70 means that the sidewall height is 70% of the 205mm width, so if you go with 215/60-15, you will have a slightly lower profile tire that is wider than the originals. either tire will do fine, but the lower profile tire will deliver a barely noticeable performance increase.

In what commercial were he lick the door knob.?

Yes, but your speedometer and odometer will be inaccurate. A 215/70R15 tire has a bigger diameter than a 205/70R15. So you will be going faster than what it says on your speedo (unless you get it recalibrated)

Would you support higher road taxes and more expensive car insurance in return for cheaper public transport?

yes you can as long as the tire won't hit the fender.. Check your tire height against the fender as the tire would be ~ 14 mm taller.
