Question:
I want to start driving as soon as I'm 17, I have roughly £1300 saved already I'm looking for rough informative instructions on getting that license and driving as soon as I hit 17 or so. All informaiton is greatly appreciated, costs of insurance tests and road tax will all help, they don't need to be accurate just rough
Answers:
Are disk brakes better than drum brakes?
Insurance is horribly expensive. Buy a group 1 car (Fiat Pandas rock!), or a classic. Cars pre-73 get free road tax as well.
Check the website for the DVLA to see driving test costs, and the ones for the AA etc to get an idea of lesson prices. Most insurance companies have an online quote system, so just plug in your details and see what you get. Tesco can be quite good for young drivers.
I have a 99 Camaro V6 and seems to bog out or lose power! HELP?
