You prbably wont go very far with an H3 simply becasue they are sooo heavy,and not built ot go offraoding, but with the right tires and a little driving technique you may be able to do a little... just enough to get the bug out of your system : ).. I wouldnt recomend sand.. its very unforgiving...

I've seen it done, but I would be careful if you drive on the beach because if the tide comes in and you can't get the car out then obviously you've got a problem.
