Question:
whats the deal with everyone trying to talk tech these days. if i walk into a store and i look dirty its probably because ive done my job. i get people who start asking questions about what i do, i tell them im a heavy truck tech and they go "HUH WHAT DO YOU MEAN HEAVY TRUCK" i mean i work on trucks that carried your crap around the freakin united states. then they try to bad mouth or tell me how to do my job, i maintain a fleet of brand new volvo class 8 trucks, they are beautiful. they look good, they got power, they handle like cars, the list goes on about these trucks and i had a guy walk up to me and start bumpin his gums to me about them, " oh those volvos are crap, they ride like crap, they aint got no power", yea..thats why its the safest and one of the best trucks out there. then he wanted to talk tech with me, trying once again to tell me how to do my job. so my question is to you all if you havent worked on something or have had no formal training, shouldnt you stop playing.
