I have loads of clothing to ship over seas and I t would cost an arm and leg to ship. I would like to use some other service then Fedex or Ups. Have you got any ideas ?

Depending on what you need by "loads", try USPS instead. Most countries the limit is 70 lbs per box. Economy (surface) is the least expensive, but it does take longer to get there.
That's assuming that you are sending it to a resident/company in that country. If you are shipping it to a military member at an APO address, it will go at domestic (US) rates even if it is headed to another country.
USPS shipping overseas is usually a lot less expensive than UPS or Fed Ex
