Question:
I'm in high school and I have nothing better to do with my time in the summer.. so me and my buddies are going to try to make a functional go-kart type contraction out of parts that are LESS THAN 5 DOLLARS or things we find at garage sales and in the trash!! Each that is.... I would like to know your guys opinions on what we could use and/or how we could use them... have fun

Answers:

If practically all gasolines are the same, is this another way the oil companies are ripping people off??

A shopping cart frame would work well. Also one of those moving dollies the two wheel one. The frame is most important followed by a reliable braking system

My son is 17, can he learn to drive a forklift truck?

youll spend that 5 dollars in gas to get to them yard sales

I'm 27 and at long last thinking of taking driving lessons - can anyone recommend a good company to go with?

If you can find the parts build it. The parts that you need are going to cost quite a bit more than five bucks. The engine alone is going to be worth more than that. The best bet is to keep your eyes open and you might find something laying around in a yard or something. Most garage sales don't fall under this category. The watchword is be safe; if you're building it out of junk; you need to engineer in quality. Be creative and have fun.

Pink cars.......?

Sounds like a death-trap in the making. Have fun!

What would be the best ' getaway ' car ?

Use a starter motor and a couple of batteries.
